Our Wednesday Book group resumes on July 10 at 4:00 PM in-person and through Zoom. Our summer plan will be to share weekly articles on various topics relating to spirituality, public life and ethics, social trends affecting church life, and whatever else interests us.

Our first discussion comes from Rev. Samuel Wells, Vicar of St. Martins-in-the-Fields in London. Wells offers a view from Europe on how to be an inclusive church of divergent voices, based on his recent book, “Humbler Faith, Bigger God.”

We will complement that reading with an article from the Washington Post, “How Pope Francis opened the Vatican to transgender sex workers.”   

The following week, we will read Seven Church Trends that Will Disrupt 2024 by Carey Neuhoff.
